Patronal Feast Day at Otrada

Our Cultural Center celebrated our Patroness - the "Otrada" icon of the most Holy Theotokos. A gathering of members and friends of the organization served a moleben in our chapel then gathered in our Banquet Hall for a meal prepared by our Ladies Committee.

Pascha Kulich & Egg Decorating

In preparation of the Feast of Feasts (Pascha) ARAA-Otrada held a children's Egg and Kulich decorating event. Children decorated eggs using a variety of traditional and contemporary methods and decorated their own personal Kulich!

St Elizabeth Rummage Sale

Members of ARAA-Otrada held Rummage Sales to collect funds for the charitable work of the St Elizabeth Fund; check our Charity page to see how the funds were donated.

An Afternoon of Ballroom Dancing for Youth

Ballroom dance lessons, led by Master Professional Instructors, were held at our Cultural Center on afternoons in May, June, October, and November. Participants learned the basics of ballroom dance focusing on the Waltz, Swing, Viennese Waltz, and Salsa.
An Evening of Dancing
November 11, 2022
ARAA-Otrada's Youth Committee hosted an Evening of Dance was held in our Belosselsky Hall; attendees were treated to professional dance performances then danced the night away to live music from the Alex Juskin Band.
