Patronal Feast Day at Otrada

On the feast day of Our Lady "Comfort and Consolation," Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to Chestnut Ridge, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy.  After the service, a wonderful meal was shared in ARAA-Otrada's Banquet Hall during which Metropolitan Nicholas was gifted an original framed painting of the St. Seraphim Church by the artist Georgii A. von Zigern-Korn.  For more details and pictures, visit the EAD website.  

2024 Contest to celebrate the 215 year anniversary of the birth of Nikolai V. Gogol

ARAA-Otrada held a contest to celebrate the famous writer N.V. Gogol.  Participants were invited to submit a drawing or painting based on the topic of their favorite Gogol work.  Children from all over the US submitted wonderful renditions which we are delighted to post here.   (Click on the photos for full screen and the artist's names.)
