Patronal Feast Day at Otrada

Our Cultural Center celebrated our Patroness - the "Otrada" icon of the most Holy Theotokos. A gathering of members and friends of the organization served a molebin in our chapel then gathered in our Banquet Hall for a meal prepared by our Ladies Committee.
This also being the Theophany Afterfeast, Fr George blessed our common buildings, several cars and apartments.
May She continue to protect us all!
IOCC Health and School Kit Packing Event

Thanks to some volunteers (wearing masks and practicing social distancing) we were able to assemble supplies purchased by our Belosselsky Fund to support IOCC outreach programs.
We assembled 150 School Kits and 450 Health Kits which were delivered to the IOCC's warehouse in Maryland - thanks to one of our members who took a ride today to deliver the boxes. and 100 Health Kits were delivered to community Homeless outreach programs (Rockland County and Passaic County).
Thanks to all who contributed and helped in this endeavor.
Virtual Bike Ride IOCC Fundraiser

ARAA-Otrada members participated in the IOCC Virtual Bike Fundraiser collecting funds for the International Orthodox Christian Charities Humanitarian programs.

The Total Diktant of 2020 took place in ARAA Otrada despite all the complications with the pandemic. A big thank you to the dance group Kaleidoscope for their performance after the event!
